What the NPPE practice test covers

The NPPE draws its questions from six syllabus areas. They are not weighted equally, so where you spend your study time matters.

Professionalism7 to 10 questions
Ethics17 to 21 questions
Professional Practice27 to 32 questions
Law for Professional Practice23 to 28 questions
Professional Law7 to 10 questions
Regulation of Members & Discipline Processes7 to 10 questions

Question ranges as published in the official NPPE blueprint at nppexam.ca, checked September 2026. The free practice test has one question from each area.

How to get the most from practice questions

A practice test is a diagnostic, not a score to feel good or bad about. Three habits make the difference.

Read every explanation

Including the ones you got right. The NPPE reuses concepts in new scenarios, and knowing why an answer is right is what carries over.

Track your weak areas

Professional Practice and Law for Professional Practice together make up about half the exam, so gaps there cost the most.

Practice against the clock

The real exam is 110 questions in 2.5 hours, a little over a minute each. Timed full-length practice is the closest rehearsal you can get.

The full easyNPPE course

One question can show you the style of the exam. It cannot tell you whether you are ready. For that you need volume across all six areas: 450+ questions with explanations, reviewed and updated in 2026, a study guide that follows the syllabus, a glossary, and timed practice exams.
